Required grades

The minimum passing grade is 6.0.

At the professor’s discretion, the student may have an additional period to finish academic activities, temporarily getting an INCOMPLETE degree.

Dismissal from PGMEC
The student will be dismissed when:

• The maximum period of 2 years for the Master’s and 4 years for the Doctorate expires, not including the leave of absence of a single semester to which they are entitled;
• fails twice in an academic class or activity;
• fails once in Master’s Dissertation or in Doctoral Thesis activity;
• fails to the enrollment in classes and/or academic activity for the second time, consecutive or not;
• obtain a gpa lower than 6.0 in a single semester;
• obtain a gpa lower than 7.0 after completing required credits.
